CIHR Pan-Canadian Network for HIV and STBBI Clinical Trials Research
Revolutionizing the prevention, treatment, and management of STBBIs
The CTN+ plays a central role in driving Canada’s response to HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne illnesses (STBBIs) through high-quality, community-collaborative research that provides evidence-based solutions for the people and regions affected by these diseases.
About the CTN+
CTN+ facilitates the design, conduct, and dissemination of equitable, community-informed, scientifically rigorous, and timely research across disciplines, infections, and key populations across all regions of Canada.
Led by National Director Dr. Marina Klein, with National Co-Directors Drs. Sharon Walmsley and Aslam Anis, CTN+ incorporates community perspectives throughout the leadership of the Network, in the design and conduct of clinical trials, and within a community-centered Knowledge Mobilization Hub.
