Farnaz is the research coordinator for the BC & Yukon regional team at CTN+. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Public Health from the University of Guelph. She is passionate about promoting community engagement in public health research and decision making and strives to support research that enhances HIV and STBBI healthcare and policy by addressing systemic and socioeconomic inequities. She also enjoys analyzing data and using engaging data visualization techniques to convey research findings in a meaningful way. In the past, her research has examined topics such as the impact of rurality on HIV treatment outcomes, correlates of changes in housing stability, and the interplay between the current landscape of HIV community services and social isolation among people living with HIV.
