Dr. Adrienne Chan is an assistant professor in the division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Toronto’s Department of Medicine. She is also a clinician-investigator at the division of infectious diseases at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and is a medical advisor at Dignitas International.
Dr. Chan finished her MD in Immunology and History at the University of Toronto, and went on to complete her Internal Medicine and Adult Infectious Diseases Residency there as well. She then obtained her MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Her research interests lie in the delivery of health services in resource limited settings, as well as clinical research regarding reduction of mortality due to opportunistic infections in HIV patients with severe immunosuppression.
